Google has recently released a new search function for smartphones and tablets that lets you use handwritten text for Google search.

"It's not always easy to use the keyboard on your phone or tablet, especially when you're on the go." says Google. So rather than typing, use your fingers to write on the screen. As you write the text is converted in to words in the search box, you will also be able to see auto-completed queries.

To enable this feature visit touch settings on bottom of Google homepage, go to Handwrite section and turn on the feature. Whenever you wish you use your handwriting for search, simply click on handwrite icon 'g' at the lower corner of the screen and you are good to go.

This feature is available in 27 languages.
